Erica honey has a fresh, caramelised scent; it is very cloudy to the eye, brown in colour with orange hues; the flavour is slightly acidic and vaguely reminiscent of liquorice. This honey with such unique and special characteristics is mainly produced in Sardinia and a few other regions in Italy.
