Lavender honey is a speciality that in Italy is only produced in Sardinia, from the wild lavender plant. It has a very intense fragrant aroma reminiscent of aromatic plants, with a colour ranging from straw yellow to amber, while its flavour is very distinctive, with a very lingering aftertaste that may remind one of ripe figs and almonds.
